Presented from 29th November to 14th December 2021 at Dubai Opera during the Nation’s 50th Anniversary. The series of 50 paintings aims to tackle prejudice by celebrating Arabic culture through artistic collaboration that spotlights local talents and highlights universal themes. Increases awareness of the environment & climate change by promoting conservation and lesser know natural landscapes in need of preservation.
The showcase also celebrated the normalisation of relations between Israel and the UAE with the Abraham Accords. The Accords represent a significant breakthrough in bridging cultural differences and bring hope of a peaceful reconciliation in the Middle East.
All 50 paintings feature in a Dance-Musical film called ‘Daughters Of The Wind Overture’ directed by Jhenyfy Muller, based on a story by Stephen Powell, filmed on Dubai Opera’s Main Stage alongside with former Royal Ballet ballerina Pietra De Mello-Pittman, co-founder of Sisters Grimm, and singers DB Gad and Madyan Hamza, singing in Arabic and English.
